We at Church on the Rock – Ocho Rios are strong believers in training the children in the precepts of our Lord, Jesus Christ, so that when they become adults they will not depart from these teachings. Proverbs 22:6.

Also, we are directed by the Saviour himself in Matthew 19:13-15 to prepare the way for the children to have access to Him, for of such is the Kingdom of God.

Our Solid Kids Ministry caters for young children between the ages of four (4) and twelve (12). The children are separated into sub groups based on age where various age appropriate methods are used to deliver to them the Word of God.

The methods we employ in the teaching of our children include:

  • The reading and explanation of the Word;
  • Memorizing and reciting key scriptures;
  • The teaching of various Bible Stories using teaching aides such as:
    • Movies;
    • Role Plays and Skits;
    • Art and Craft.

We have trained and committed instructors who will adequately monitor every child in our care.

We also provide refreshments for the children in attendance.

We encourage you to bring your children to the House of God so that they can be fed and nurtured with the Word of God.
